The ASTRA was founded by Manan Sharma to make astronomy and STEM education reachable for young students everywhere. It grows through student-led chapters that run outreach, observation, and research in their own communities, working toward a future where a telescope sits within reach of every village. Its guiding principle is the motto Sciendo et faciendo discimus: we learn by knowing and by doing.
